The Eternal InterPlanetary
Humans Ledger
What's Eterneum?
Eterneum is the interplanetary ledger of humanity. It allows you to keep in a unique and immutable register, the trace of your existence or of those you love. From your first and last names, date and place of birth, Eterneum calculates a unique code called tokenID, which belongs to you and a special dragon, ouroboros, whose characteristics are unique too. Eterneum is simple, decentralized and immutable.

Start your eternal ledger
Create your own token is very easy:
- 1Connect your Metamask wallet. How to install and connect MetaMask?
- 2Find your birth geocode. What's a Plus Code? | How to find it?
- 3Fill in your data.
- 4Submit the transaction with your wallet. Service Fee is 0.25 Eth + Transaction Gas Fees.
Ad vitam aeternam
Eterneum uses the Ethereum blockchain, is goberned by a smart contract and stores data in IPFS storage.
Eterneum calculates your tokenID from cryptographic functions with your first name, last name, date of birth and place of birth, coded with a geocode system for identifying an area anywhere on the Earth.
This tokenID is stored in the Ethereum Blockchain and the information associated is saved in a unique IPFS address. The IPFS storage as well as the Etherneum blockchain ledger guarantees its sustainability even if Eterneum.io goes disappear.
The smart contract governing Eterneum.io does not allow the alteration and modification of data, nor the tokens transfer to a third party.
What's an ouroboros?
The ouroboros or uroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. Originating in ancient Egyptian iconography, the ouroboros entered Western tradition via Greek magical tradition and was adopted as a symbol in Gnosticism and Hermeticism and most notably in alchemy. The ouroboros is often interpreted as a symbol for eternal cyclic renewal or a cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
We play with
Ethereum
Ethereum is a decentralized blockchain with smart contract functionalities. Ether (ETH) is the native cryptocurrency of the platform. It is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, after Bitcoin, as measured by cryptocurrencies market leaders in June 2021 and confirmed by Wikipedia.
IPFS
The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol and peer-to-peer network for storing and sharing data in a distributed file system. IPFS uses content-addressing to uniquely identify each file in a global namespace connecting all computing devices.
NFTs
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies any digital file to be unique. An NFT functions like a cryptographic token, but unlike cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, are not mutually interchangeable, in other words, not fungible.
MetaMask
MetaMask is a software cryptocurrency wallet used to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. It allows users to access their Ethereum wallet through a browser extension or mobile app, which can then be used to interact with decentralized applications.
